Good morning Sherrie:

And thanks for the contact.

Yes, the website is up and running. you can find it at

What you won't find on the website is very much information on the lines collateral to Buster that you mentioned.

First: Sarah "Sally" Elizabeth Buster was b. 3 Sept 1793 and m. John Rousseau 18 Jul 1812 in Wayne Co., KY. I have no information on her death. Her parents are David Buster and Francis (Yes, she spelled it with an I) "Frankie" Pierce. Francis' will is available for download from the website.
Her parents are William Pierce b. c1740 and Mary Stanton b. c1745.

David was born 1760 and d. 1806. He is the son of William Buster (c1729-13 May 1795) and Jane Woods (1734-1812). William is the first born son of William Bustard and Elizabeth LNU, the progenitors of the main Buster line in America.

All this is available from the website in the William of VA tree.

Jane Woods is an interesting lady. She is the daughter of Michael Woods II (1708-1777) and Anne (1710-1770). Anne is also referred to as Anne Garth, Anne Lambert, and Anne Garth Lambert. I prefer Anne Garth Lambert as I believe she is the daughter of Charles Lambert and FNU Garth, but this opinion only and largely speculative.

Michael Woods II may be the son of Michael Woods I (1684-1762); I've seen arguments both for and against. Assuming, arguendo, that II is the son of I we have an interesting relationship because Michael I's wife is Mary Campbell (1690-1762), daughter of James Campbell and Susan Campbell Cawder. This
Campbell line goes back through Robert the Bruce in Scotland to legendary days. One branch swings off about 1000 a.d. and traverses the legendary Welch kings. I think the oldest member of this line is Scaef who lived about 200 b.c. give or take a century or two. But this is a whole different universe.

Both Michael Woods I and Michael Woods II left wills which I have transcribed and which are available for download from the website.

On the Parker connection. Milton P. Buster, son of Gen. Joshua A. Buster and his first wife Julia Gholson Hayden, married Louisa Lockett Parker (22 Feb 1827 - 30 May 1908), the daughter of Lewis Rousseau Parker and Mathilda DeForest Lockett. So Lewis must be connected to the Lewis Parker Rousseau that you mention. Other than that I don't know much about the Parkers.

I hope this gives you some help.

Jack Buster
