This is the BUSSIERE family that I am researching at this time. I think this might be the family that left Quebec for the United States, but have not researeched all the children thoroughly. I have photos (similar to "tin-type") of this family from photographers in Quebec, East Saginaw MI, and Fitchburg RI.

On 18 Jul 1836, he married Marie Adele TESSIER, daughter of Alexis TESSIER (1790- ) & Marie-Judith MORAND dit GRIMARD (1795- ), at St-Joachim-de-Chateauguay, Quebec. Born on 15 Sep 1819 in Ste-Anne-de-la-Perade, Quebec. They had the following children:

On 17 Apr 1876, he married Marie Eliose GENDRON, daughter of Pierre GENDRON (ca1800-) & Angelique HEBERT (1804-1895), in Woonsocket, Providence Co., RI. Born on 10 Oct 1848 in Beauharnois, Quebec. Marie Eliose died in Arcata, Humboldt Co., CA on 21 Oct 1916; she was 68. They had the following children:

3. Charles BUSSIERE. Born on 17 Jan 1847 in St-Joachim-de-Chateauguay, Québec. Charles died in Fitchburg, Worcester Co., MA on 11 May 1924; he was 77. About 1868, he married Celina DUFORT, daughter of Etienne DUFORT & Domithilde GENDRON. Born on 17 Nov 1848 in Chateauguay, Quebec. Celina died in Fitchburg, Worcester Co., MA on 6 May 1928; she was 79. They had one child:
