Have received some wonderful info from other Busseys since I began my research a couple years back, but am wondering if anyone can connect a lineage directly to James Marion Bussey or his first wife Elizabeth Kilgore? They resided in GA perhaps in a couple different counties (maybe Talbot, Putnam, Randolph, or Muscogee). They had (I believe) three children...Nathan, James, and Mittie born abt.1853 or 1854. I know that they married in AL in 1847 or 1849 (that depends on where the info is obtained). I thought that some descendants of Jame's and Elizabeth's children are out there. Mittie moved to Longview, TX in 1871 and perhaps her siblings did as well. This is unknown to me. James Marion remained in GA in either Muscogee or Talbot County.
