Would you let me know how to contact Lynn Bussey Guittard? I would be interested in one of her books. I am descended from Polly Bussey, daughter of Demcey Bussey and Sarah Lyon of Edgefield, SC. You are aware that Demcy's family bible was found in the wall of the old Bussey Homeplace a few years back and all 12 of his children are listed as well as quite a few of his slaves. For those who don't know, these were his listed children: James Bussey b. 7-27-1797; Polly Bussey b. 11-25-1798; Latisha Bussey b. 05-08-1800; George Bussey b. 06-16-1801; Agnes Bussey b. 12-20-1802; Edward Moody Bussey b. 01-17-1805; Demcey Lyon Bussey b. 11-13-1806, Sally Ann Bussey b. 07-23-1808; Elizabeth Bussey b. 03-06-1810; John Bussey b. 09-30-1811; William Albert Gallatin Bussey b. 10-27-1813 and Joseph Bussey b. 08-31-1817.
Isn't it funny how relatives can just crawl out of woodwork, and the Bussey's have plenty of relatives to find?
