Thanks for the last post. It straightened out the Edwards and Georges. First, I don't have either of the books by Lynn Bussey. I've sent her an e-mail to find out what it takes to get them, but no answer as yet.
Your information finally made the link I've been looking for to tie the Bussey's I had with what you have. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I don't have anything further back than the George Bussey who married Anne Keene, that's as far back as I had been able to establish, but you confirmed that. What I started out looking for was information on Susannah Bussey who married (abt. 1715) to Alexander Magruder (b.1642-d.1746). He had first married Ann Hutchinson (m. abt 1698). They had dau. Ann Magruder (? - d.abt 1760) who m. Henry Truman. They had 1)Thomas Truman 2) Henry Truman 3)Alexander Truman 4)Edward Truman 5)Jane Truman and 6)Sarah Truman. (don't know any of their descendants yet).
Alexander Magruder them married Susannah Bussey and they had: 1)Elizabeth Magruder 2)Sarah Magruder 3)Priscilla Magruder 4)Hezekiah Magruder and 5) Alexander Magruder (b. 1713 -d.10 Oct 1779).(I'm down his line) On 06 Dec 1744, Alexander Magruder married Elizabeth Howard (1725-d.02 Sep 1803). They had 10 children. (It multiplies fast after that) Will send you charts if you are interested.
BACK TO SUSANNAH BUSSEY. I had info that indicated her father was Hezekiah Busey and began looking. Somewhere (I can't recall just now) I learned Hezekiah's father to be George Bussey, who married Ann Keene.
Reading the posts on the Bussey Family Genealogy Forum confirmed the name was Bussey, not Busey, and later led me to you.
