This wouldn't be the same Cornelius Bussey, but may very well be an ancestor to your Cornelius Bussey. My 5th great grandfather, Cornelius Bussey married Mary Carver Oct. 14, 1770 then married Jane Crawford, June 23, 1776. My Cornelius born June 18, 1745 to Henry and Margaret McCarty Bussey of Stafford Co.,VA. Cornelius Bussey fought in the Revolutionary War. Cornelius' Will probabted Sept. 22, 1800 in the County of Fauquier, VA. It mentions a son John and a daughter Peggy, wife of Dozier Bragg, (my line). Peggy Bussey and Dozier Bragg had a daughter Sarah that married Levi Parker in Rutherford Co., TN.
Levi Parker and Sarah my ggggrandparents.
