John, thanks for replying. I have just started my research and all I have so far is this newspaper clipping dated July 1, 1965 from the Fitzgerald Herald. It is Part VIII written by Gary Fuller on these families: Barretts, McCullers, Browns and Bussells. Here is what it has concerning Wilson: 'Columbus Brown married Miss Marietta Bussell and settled at Abba Ga. Their children were Alec, Ida, Carl(my gf), Bessie, Minnie, Jim and Jack. W.J.C. married the second time to Miss Lilly Bussell, a cousin to Marietta. They had one son, Wilson. He married Simeon J. Walker. They went to live at his home near Vidalia, didn't stay there long before they were back with Pa and Ma Brown. Their children were Jimmy, Lillian and Beulah.'
Some of this may be in error, I am going to try and get the rest of this newspaper info (beginning with Vol. 1) I am going to Ocilla the Friday after Thanksgiving to visit my Uncle Charles who is in Osceola Nursing Home--hopefully he can remember some of our family history. I will send you a copy of this clipping if you give me your address (if you are interested in it). It is quite lengthy. Hope I have helped you. I would like to know more about my Grandfather's brothers and sisters. I also know he was married before he married my Grandma Lois and had a son named Carl Jr. and he lives somewhere here in Florida. I also would like any info on my Grandma's line. Her name was Lois Irene Mcelmurray--I'm not sure if that is the correct spelling. She had a sister named Gladys, and her mother was named Malinda I think. That is all I know. If you run across any info please send it my way. I thank you.
