My great-great grandmother is Malissa Bussell who married Robert T. Gates in 1899 in Randolph County, AR. I am trying to verify who her parents may have been. She was born in 1884, so she missed being on the 1880 census, she was married in 1899, so she isn't listed with her parents in 1900, and she died in 1908, making it very difficult to trace by conventional means.
The only Bussell family in the area I can see is Barton and Louisa Bussell, found in Randolph County in 1880 and Howell County, MO every year afterward. I can't, however, prove this is her parents.
