I'm looking for info on the family of my g'g'g'grandmother, Elizabeth (Blanke)Busse. She was born in Germany (Prussia)abt 1823, married Frederick Busse b. 1822. They immigrated to the U.S. in 1853. Settled in northern Illinois,then moved to Green County Wisconcin, later to Hardin County Iowa, and finally Henry County, Missouri. Their children include Frederick, Elizabeth (Louiza or Lucy), Fredericka, Henry, Sarah, Mary, Lewis, and Daniel. Another daughter Sophia Blanke, either remained in Germany or returned there later. I am trying to find info about Elizabeth's Blanke family in Germany or how it is that their daughter, Sophia ended up with the surname of Blanke. Let me know if you can help!
