I found some information about his parents in his sister Alice's burial records at Forest Hill Cemetery in Madison, WI. These records can be accessed on line. Alice b. March 22, 1880 and died February 25, 1967 in Madison. She married my relative, Walter A. Tarnutzer, from Sauk Co., WI. They had one daughter, Alice. It lists her parents as Charles Busse and Mary Luchenmeier.
