SHIVES--BUSHKIRK -- At noon Wednesday, January 4th, 1905, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Shives, in PLeasant township, occurred the marriage of their daughter, Miss Olive Belle, to Mr. Daniel J. Buskirk. The ceremony was performed by (Reverend) Mullicon, of Ossian. The home was prettily decorated with holly and carnations. Miss LuLu Buskirk played Lohengrin's wedding march & during the ceremony "Hearts & Flowers." There were about a hundred guests and many handsome presents were received.

Among the guests were Mrs. W. Z. Roberts, of Westerville, Ohio; Mrs. Whetter, Mrs. J. C. Brown & Miss Clarice Highee, of Milford, Indiana; Mr. & Mrs. J. W. Minehart, Mr. & Mrs. Frank Burnett, Mr. & Mrs. JOHN GREER, Mr. & Mrs. THOMAS GREER, Mrs. C. Shives & Miss Anna Shives, of Fort Wayne.

The bride is a well known teacher & the groom is a prosperous farmer. They weill reside on a farm.
