Hi,
I don't know if this will help, but I have the surname Buskirk in my family. They are related through the Van Tassel family. Mathias W. Van Tassel b. 7/31/1814 d. 8/23/1868 he was married to Catherine Waldrot and Jane Kent. this family lived in Wayland MI. Three of his daughters married Buskirk.
1.Louisa Van Tassel 1838-1913 married Allen Buskirk
children of Louisa and Allen were
Elida who married ?Clark
Charles who married Grace Barnes
Carrie who married William A. Smith
Gertrude married Engle and Clementson
George married Houghtaling and Fields
2.Ellen Van Tassel married Daniel Buskirk
3.Catherine Van Tassel married Eliphalet Buskirk
Their children were;
Walter, Clinton,Jessie,Nora and Roscoe
