Crawford, 89, of Mount Sterling, formerly of Versailles, mother of a Morton woman, died at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, 2000, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Mount Sterling. Born Dec. 9, 1910, in Sheridan, Wyo., to Tom and Adah Franklin Buskirk, she married Clarence Crawford on June 15, 1932, in Hannibal, Mo. He died May 7, 1970. She also was preceded in death by one infant daughter and four sisters. Surviving are three daughters, Kathryn Wallace of Morton, Susie (and Lloyd) Zimmer of Versailles and Pauline (and Si) Oliver of Westville, Ind.; one son, Robert (and Marilyn) of St. Louis; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Versailles First Christian Church, where she was active in the TLC Women's Fellowship. She attended the Versailles Senior Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hendricker Funeral Home in Mount Sterling, where friends may call from 8 a.m. until services. The Rev. Tommy Farmer will officiate. Friends also may call any time after 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Mount Sterling City Cemetery.
