In researching some of my White ancestors I was recently sent information from a family bible that states the maiden name of my ggg-grandmother was Bushrod. Her full name was Hannah Bushrod, and she was born on 06 August 1803 and she died on 05 November 1872 in Robertson County, Tennessee. According to the 1850 census of Robertson County, Hannah was born in one of the Carolinas. The writing on the census record is unclear, and I can’t tell whether it is North Carolina or South Carolina.
Hannah Bushrod was married to Reuben White. Reuben was born 10 June 1800 in Virginia and died 06 July 1854 in Robertson County, Tennessee. I don’t know where or when Reuben White and Hannah Bushrod married. It could have been Tennessee, Virginia, or the Carolinas.
Does anyone have any information on this Hannah Bushrod? Does anyone have any idea who Hannah’s parents might have been?
