Samuel S. Bushnell located in NOBLE in 1838. He had purchased his land two or three years previously. He died in 1878 at the age of seventy-five years.
His son, Ephraim B. Bushnell, is yet a resident of the township, and was but a boy when his father came.
Mrs. E. B. Bushnell, whose father's name was Bennett, came with him to Adrian, Lenawee Co. in 1836.
