Lisa: What/where is your evidence that Thomas Hosmer's wife was the daughter of Francis and Ferris (Quenell) Bushnell? The baptismal records of their following children are all found in the Horsham parish register: i. EDMUND BUSHNELL, bap. 27 Apr. 1606; ii. FRANCIS BUSHNELL, bap. 8 Jan. 1608/9; iii. WILLIAM BUSHNELL, bap. 3 Feb. 1610/11; iv. STEPHEN BUSHNELL, bap. 31 Jan. 1612/3; v. JOHN BUSHNELL, bap. 23 Apr. 1615; vi. THOMAS BUSHNELL, bap. 31 Aug. 1617; vii. MARY BUSHNELL, bap. 25 Dec. 1618; viii. REBECCA BUSHNELL, bap. 15 Apr. 1621; ix. RICHARD BUSHNELL, bap. 20 Apr. 1623; x. SARAH BUSHNELL, bap. 20 Nov. 1625; and, xi. ELIZABETH BUSHNELL, bap. 5 Mar. 1627/8 No daughter Frances is found. If you will note that these births take place almost consistently about two years apart (which was quite common for the time period), it seems quite unlikely that there were any additional children born to Francis and Ferris whose baptisms were not recorded. BTW: The Bushnell genealogy is incorrect in Francis Bushnell's ancestry. A check of the Thatcham parish register shows that the son, Francis, of Francis Bushnell of Thatcham was only six years old when Francis Bushnell of Horsham married Ferris Quenell So, don't believe everything you read - ESPECIALLY unsourced information posted on the internet!
