Alanson (Truman?) Bushnell, Wood Cty, Ohio, early 1800's

I am researching a line of Bushnells that settled in Webster Township, Wood County, Ohio. The information I have is scant - my gg-grandfather is Truman Bushnell, b. 1854, m. Adeline Griner in 1882. His father, according to census records and local published history of Wood County, is Alanson Bushnell, b.?, m. Eliza __?__, and who fought in the Civil War, 144th Ohio Volunteer Infantry, wounded and mustered out 1864. Early census records also list Alanson instead as Truman, well before his son Truman was born.

I have other early county history books which list a William and Emily Bushnell as being pioneering settlers of Troy Township in Wood County, and I believe these individuals are likely related, as Troy Township abuts my gg-granfather Truman's Webster Township. These were small towns then, as they are now.

That's all I have....can anyone help at all???
