J. Bushaw is in the 1860 census for St. Lawrence Co. in upstate NY. I believe he anglizied his name from Boucher/Beauchamp/Bushey. He had had a son, William, born in Quebec City in 1848. They traved to Plattsburgh, NY and them to St. Lawrence Co. He also had a son John and a daughter Mary b. 1854. I do not know where he went to, but his two boy stayed in Northern New York.
