Abraham Boucher (AKA Bushey) son of Joseph & Angelique Meunier, married circa 1843 to Marguerite Longuépée, daughter of Louis & Marguerite LeBlanc of Margaree, NS. Marguerite died of smallpox at Newburport, MA on 26 Apr 1849.

They had two sons born at the Magdalen Islands, Quebec:

Joseph in 1844; married twice (1) Margaret Nolan in 1869 Gloucester, MA and (2) Harriet Griffin in 1880 Rockport, MA

and

Alexander, born in 1846; married to an Elizabeth ...

To my knowledge, there was never a brother William born before them.

Their father Abraham remarried a Mary Tobin in 1851 in Newburyport, MA and had four more children with her:

Margaret 1851; James 1853, who died at sea in 1875 unmarried; Mary 1857; and Julia in 1860.

As I mentioned, I don't think your William was a member of this family, although it seems several members of the Bushey family moved to the North Shore of Massachusetts. Best regards,

Dennis Boudreau
