James Bushee 1732 in RI

I am a direct descendant from James Bushee, b. 1732 in RI and Bathsheba Tripp. I have as his parents John and Rebecca Salisbury, but I do not have proof of this.
As to the name being first Boucher, I have the spelling for families of Bushee in London in the 1500's. I also have information that two brothers named Bushee went to a Priest in Canada and asked him the correct way to spell their name to make it a French name and he is the one who changed it to Boucher. Two of their brothers and a sister kept the spelling as Bushee. This was in the 1800's. My Bushee family has always used the accent on the first "e" giving it the Boo Shay sound instead of BooShee.
