I'm still putting pieces together on Bushee's. Most of the ones I have found are related to me many distantly. I have Adolphus C. Bushee - son of James R. and Sarah Mettler. Adolphus married Mary Fortner. They had at least 1 son James H. Bushee. I have no dates but will look back to the source of my info and see what I can find for you. My immediate family Bushee's lived in New York and we believe came from Vermont and possibly Rhode Island - still checking much of this. My gg grandmother was Florella Bushee Johnston who had 4 sisters and 3 brothers. I know 2 and maybe all 3 of the brothers fought in Civil War - one died.
