Dear Carolyn,
I believe that I, too, am a descendant of John Bushee and Rebecca Salisbury through their son Thomas and grandson Silas Salisbury. Our family tradition has it that our branch was from Rhode Island by way of Vermont into New York State (and then on to Wisconsin). For years the trail was lost in Cortland County, NY (which is full of Salisburys of different origins) and I couldnīt take our line back further than Silas. What are your sources for the information on the moves and the children of John Bushee and Rebecca Salisbury? Do you have any dates?
