Wondered if our Bushee (French connection we call it)was Boucher. We have history handed down (Bushee is my husband's line) saying the first Bushee escaped the massacre of Protestants in Europe. He was said to have been 1 of 3 men who escaped a slatter and stow away on a ship that made its way to New York then migrated to Berks Co. Pa where he married and fathered 3 sons - - one was Jacob b (between 1760 and 1775) in Berk Co. I have further on this line if anyone is interested.
