This fellow has been talked about before on this forum but I don't think his parents were ever proven.
Wondering if he might be a previously unknown son of Isaac and Hannah Sammon Bush. They already have 2 known sons - James and William. Might there have been a third??
Is the clue in the Newby family?
In 1736 Lancaster Co., Hannah Bush's Appraisal of Estate was signed by a John STOTT, Sr., Henry NEWBY and Edward Blackmore.(WB 13:31) Hannah's brother William Sammon was the administrator of her Estate.
Skip a few years and a generation and When James Bush, son of Isaac and Hannah Bush had his Estate finally divided following his wife Margaret's death, Jams' estate was divided by James Newby, Johnson Riveer, Jess Robinson, Jr. and Oswald Newby
Margaret Bush (Mrs. James)is presumed to be Margaret nee Riveer, the daughter of Peter Riveer and the sister of Johnson Riveer. James and Margaret Bush's daughter Hannah Bush married Peter Riveer. James and Margaret's son Peter Bush married Alice Riveer, the daughter of Johnson Riveer.
Skip ahead a number of years and in 1761 the Inventory for a John Bush was recorded in Lancaster Co. Will Book 16:143.
John's Inventory was signed by John Bailey, John Walters and James NEWBY.
Lanc. Co Marriage records show that a James Bush married Frances STOTT on 1/13/1846 with Thomas Eubank security.
Is it possible that Isaac and Hannah Bush may have had a son named John who died in 1761???? The Newby family seems to be a constat factor in all??
