Hi Deb:
I am not a part of your line, but I hope you don't mind if I make a suggestion.
Please don't post your work UNTIL it is documented. I realize its hard to hold back for a while because its so exciting, but there are people out there even newer to geneology than you might be, and they will believe everything you write whether it is documented or not.
It is a tremendous thrill to share your work with others and see that they benefit fom it, but there is a big chance that without the documentation, even if you say you have not proven it yet, it will be taken as gospel truth once you put it in print in a public place.
There is a responsiblity that comes with publishing your research, and that responsibilty is to make sure you tell it like it really is and the only way to do that is to have the documentation backing up what you say.
I am in the process of writing and publishing articles in order to try and straighten out the misinformation that exists in my own lines because of some authors who were anxious to publish when they did not document some things.
You won't be sorry you did it right the first time.
I am sure there are others on this forum who will tell you the same thing.
That's why Georgi is as good as you have said she is. She has her documentation in place before putting the information out.
Just wanted you to think about it.
Best wishes in your research.
Carol
