Online sources corroborate part of Reagan shooter John Hinckley's line. What I found is as follows (this line goes back further than what I posted):

1. John Hinckley c. 1512-1577 m. Johane (UNK) c. 1515-1563/4;
2. Robert Hinckley c. 1537-1606 m. Katherine UNK 1553-bef. 1605;
3. Samuel Hinckley 1589-1662 m. Sarah Soole or Soule;
4. John Hinckley 1644-1709 m. Belthia Lathrop 1649-1694;
5. Samuel Hinckley 1670-1751 m. Martha Lathrop 1677-1737;
6. Samuel Hinckley 1706-1763 m. MZerviah Breed b. 1707;
7. Abel Hinckley 1743-1818 m. Sarah Hobart (sometimes seen as "Hubbard") 1743-1843;
8. Abel Hinckley 1771-1841 m. Hannah Wheeler 1779-1861;
9. Alfred Hinckley 1799-1888 m. Eliza Stanley 1797-1874
