Edward Bushe's will dated 25 April, 1769 is recorded in Charleston, South Carolina, Will Bk. 12-B, p.568. It states that he was of Granville County, Planter, and names wife SARAH, to whom he bequeathed "Plantation on the Savannah River," which was left in the care of ROBERT LEE;" to mother MARY CASTELLAW 280 pds; to brother JOHN BUSH, 100 acres of land [not described] and a negro fellow; to sister Zilpah Williams, 1 negro; to "Cousin ISAAC BUSH, Jr. Son of Honoured Uncle ISAAC BUSH," a negro; Residue divided between my brother JOHN and sister ZILPHA. Exrs.: "uncle ISAAC BUSH and Trusty & well beloved brother Ezekiel Williams." Wits.: ISAAC BUSH, OWEN O'DANIEL and WILLIAM CASTELLAW. Recorded Will Bk. 1767-1771, p. 324."
