CONNECTIONS BETWEEN MASSACHUSETTS & MARYLAND BUSBYS?
Posted by: Dorothea Clymer (ID *****1882) Date: June 21, 2008 at 06:08:44

The story of Nicholas BUSBY's emigration from Norwich, England and subsequent settlement in Watertown, Massachusetts is well-known and well-documented. Also well-known and well-documented is the emigration of Abraham & Deborah (KEMP) BUSBY from Maryland to Harrison County, Ohio. BUT, has anyone made a connection from the Massachusetts BUSBYs to the Maryland BUSBYs? Nicholas BUSBY had sons Abraham and John. Abraham & Deborah had sons Abraham and John. The same names proliferated in Massachusetts, Maryland and Ohio BUSBYs. Some researchers name three generations of Maryland to Ohio BUSBYs: John, John II (m Edith PRICE) and John III (m Agnes WISNER), and in my case, the generations go: John, John II and Abraham (m Deborah KEMP). Who is the father of the earliest John?
