I have a John Busby, age 50 in the 1850 census, married to Rebecca, age 42. Is he Alfred's brother? Uncle? They are listed in District No. 7, Boone County Indiana, pg. 147 ? Dwelling number 316. They have children, Francis, age 18; Amazet, age 7; George, age 5; and Mary L. age 4.
I have a John Busby listed earlier but unfortunately, I failed to note the year or the census roll. It lists 3 males (age 5-10; 10-15; and 50-60), 5 females (0-5; 5-10; 15-20; 20-30; and 40-50). This John then seems to be older than the other John, who was 50 in 1850. A father, John with a son, John and also a son, Alfred?
Does anyone know the lineage of these people? I'm stumped, tyring to see if they tie in my Isaac Busbey and Lucy England line somewhere somehow.
