I'm seeking to identify the parents and siblings of James POWELL and wife Nettie BURTON who lived in Hartley, Obrien Co, Iowa in the early 1900's. They MAY have been from PA & WVA.
Their daughter Loena (note unusual spelling) POWELL married Arthur PFITZENMAIER. Arthur appears on Social Security Death Index in Obrien Co, IA with dates b.c. 1899, d. 1995.
Arthur's parents were John PFITZENMAIER (b.c. 1867 Germany) and Dora Jane SCOTT. Dora's family was from western Iowa. John & Dora Jane settled in Primghar, Obrien Co, IA.
Several sescendants of these families still live in that area and I'd love to hear from them.
Can anyone help me? You have my gratitude in advance. I'm searching for this family for a friend, an elderly woman who is quite ill. Please help... Thanks
