What we need are a number of current BURTON males to take the DNA and submit that kit to our TRENT DNA Study. That way we can begin to see how many, if any of the Burton males and Trent males have the same or similar DNA markers. That way we might be able to determine whether they were originially Burtons or Trents. I also will say that I doubt that any of the DNA taken or the results there of, will or could be used for any purposes that might backfire to or on anyone who provide a DNA Kit for testing.... The cost for a 12 marker test is appox. $105.00 shipped to the person with a return package. If the 12 marker test shows some family connection then for an added cost that test can be refined down to a 24 marker comparison and I believe down to a 35 or more marker match which will show more family connections.... The person running our test is Sharon Carter in VA and she can explain it more then I can!!!!!!!
