I'll answer your last question first, so that I don't forget it:

As I understand it, the Pulaski Co., KY BURTON line connects to our line, but earlier up the tree. Those mentioned in early Pulaski county wills with surname BURTON:
Allen 1813
Thomas 1814
William 1814
However, I do not know who the parents were of Silas Burton.
I did a little more poking around on the Internet today and I do believe Mr. Dietz' information was mixed up and you are correct in saying Elizabeth actually married Sam Miller and Sarah married Samuel Spillman as Warren Co., KY marriage data indicated. Maybe the two given names SAMUEL confused the issue? I had never followed up in looking for more on Mr. Dietz' data. And I have no RIGSBY connections with BURTONs before looking into your posting here. I have a John MILLER m. to Rachel THOMSON. They lived in Abbeville Co., SC. She was a sister to Dr. Andrew THOMSON whose daughter Esther Thomson married my ancestor David BURTON, son of Charles BURTON, the sibling to the Allen Co., KY BURTONS. My David Burton moved to Alabama.

I do not believe the surname should be spelled SPILMAN, but that's the way the author of the tree (Sharon Clark) had it spelled.
