Ina: I am sorry but at this time I do not know who Wm. Marshall's parent are. I have been corresponding a little with Ken Jones who is working on some of the same lines. He may be able to help you more on Wm. Marshall Burt. Try him at "keeping@bellsouth.net" He also has the LeSeur line branching off from William Washington's wife Jane Leseur. According to him William Marshall Burt is a descendent of Elijah Burt. This may be found also on the web site I told you about - Burt Southern at rootsweb.
