John Burt and his wife Helen Kirk were in the US a few years, returned to Scotland for a while, and then settled permanently in the US in South Dakota. My info on their children is very sketchy, as this is not my direct line. My line goes thru Helen's sister, Ann, but I would like to get a little more info on the Burt family. I'm especially curious as to why they would go to the US, then back to Scotland, and then back to the US.
