Where did your family migrate from? My grandparents were William Burt, born in Ohio in 1850, and Leona Helm, born in Mo, I think. All the Burts migrated from Ohio to Mo; in the Franklin Co area, around Moselle or Robertsville, sometime after 1850. My great grandparents were Samuel Burt, and Mary Jane Briggs; I don't know when they were born or where. My most distant ancestor was Benjamin Burt Esq. Born in New Jersey or Connecticut, in 1761 and fought in the war for our independance.
