Elizabeth was the daughter of William Burt, Sr. b Sept 15, 1771, SC, and d June 2, 1852, Dawson Co., Ga. and Mary Spradling, b Feb 9, 1778, NC, and d March 16, 1838 in Lumpkin, (now Dawson) Co., Ga. There were 10 children born to William and Mary. Elizabeth was #4. I don't know if this is right, but I show Worthy's father as Joseph Lewallen b. ca 1763, NC. My husband is descended from William Burt, Sr. If you have any more information on Elizabeth and Worthy and their descendants I would love to have it for my records. All I have is 3 females and 4 males born between 1823 and 1838. I would love to be able to fill in the blanks.
