Does anyone know what happened to John Burt, b. Ridgefield, CT, 1729, and Joseph Burt, b. Ridgefield, CT, 1742, both sons of Christopher Burt, who was a son of Benjamin and Sarah Belden Burt of Ridgefield. Did they move with their parents to New York State, or were they Loyalists who went to New Brunswick at the close of the Revolution? Any help or hints or leads would be of great help.
