This is very interesting message. I know this Burt family very well. Aaron Burt of Syracuse, N.Y., is a brother to my grgrgrandfather Martin Burt. I own a copy of the Descendants of Henry and Ulaliah Burt of Springfield, MA, pub 1892, by Roderick Burnham, and he says that the son of Aaron Burt and Lucy Burk, died June 11, 1857, and was unmarried. He could be wrong, or it could be that your ancestor was a neice???? Please email me, I can work with you on this, and have lots of Burt records besides this book, even a letter written by Aaron Burt. Too much to post here.
