Andrea, a few months ago I had some correspondence with someone that is the THAYER family historian. She seems to have a lot of info, so maybe she can help. Unfortunately, I can't place my hands on her correspondence at the moment. I will try to find it and get back to you. One of my BURTs seems to have married a THAYER also, guess they liked each other.
