Zephaniah and Hannah were the parents of at least one child:
Rhoda Burt born about 1779 in Morris Co. NJ. and died in 1863 in Ohio. Z and H were probably among the early NJ settlers to the area of SW Pa.
Rhoda married William Rannells and they were the parents of at least one child: Ruth Burt Runnells born about 1801 in Pa. and died 21 March 1881 in Morgan Co. Ohio. They married 26 May 1823 in Ohio. There were several Burt individuals in Washington and Greene Counties Pa. and in Athens Co. Ohio. A Mary Burt married Amzi Axtell in Athens Co. Perhaps this will help with your research endeavors. Research efforts should begin in Morris Co. NJ, Washington and Greene Counties, Pa. and Morgan and Athens Counties Ohio. djc
