I'm trying to find the parents of my ggrandfather, William Burt,
who, according to the 1860 Pike Co., Arkansas census, was living with his
wife, Rebecca Moore, and children, Sarah, John David and Rufus J,
at the home of Rebecca's parents, Allen and Sarah More. The census
lists William as a farmer, age 30, and from TN. Rebecca, age 29,
and from TN. Rebecca's mother, Sarah, age 48, from NC, and father,
Allen, farmer, age 54, and from GA. I'd appreciate any help in
furthering my search.
