Looking for birthplace/parents of Moses Burt (b ca 1735 d 1808 KY).
He supposedly immigrated from Europe to NJ. Later moved to VA,
married Hannah Grun (or Green).

Family moved to Scott Co. KY in 1779 or thereabouts.
Descendants moved to Callaway Co. MO in 1830's, Indiana and
Illinois (Divernon).

Don't know whether Moses was British, Irish or German. Writes
sons name as Jno. which could be Jonothan, John or Johan. He was in
military. Received land grant in VA for service through 1760.
