I am working on the following family:
A. J. BURT married Cleopatra (Cleo) PARKER in 1894.
Cleo was born in 1879 in Iowa and died in 1933
Evidently A. J. died because she married G. W. Hunter in 1930
With Burt she had the following children: Iris Lorena who married Howard Talbot and had Aurdey Berdette and Eugene Burt
Lelah Montress born 1897 and Charles Emery born 1895. Charles Emery married Mary Casson and had two daughers, Montress Vanetta and June Lee.
Cleopatra Parker's parents were Lydia Alta Decker and Ezra B. Parker. Lydia was born in 1856 in Bucyrus Ohio. I do know that Ezra and Lydia married in 1877. Evidently Ezra died and she later married William Anderson.
I would like to find out more about A. J. Burt, where he was born and who his parents were.
Did Lelah marry? and where was she born?
Who were Ezra Parker's parents? and where was he born and when? Is he part of the Rev. Parker family that moved west to Texas?
I have not been able to locate any graves for any of these people. Without knowing where they lived ( I am assuming in the Iowa/Ohio area ) I'm having a difficult time trying to locate census reports on these families.
If you have any information on them I would appreciate some help. I can give further information on the Decker line back to the late 1700's if you are interested.
