I'm searching for the parents of my great grandfather, William Burt, born May 1830 in Tennessee, married (1) to Rebecca Moore, daughter of Allen & Sarah Moore and married (2) to Martha Rivers, daughter of Matthew Rivers and Mary Prince. Children of William and Rebecca are Sarah Ann (1854), John David (1857) and Rufus Johnson (1860) all born in Arkansas.
William Burt is found in the 1900 Howard Co Arkansas census, married to Martha J for 38 years, residence Nashville Town, Howard, Arkansas and two children, Dan E Burt and Charity B Burt living with him. His father and mother are listed as born in North Carolina.
I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who can add to my search.
