Looking for any Burt's in Illinois. Areas that I have heard linked to our family is Chicago-land, Champaign, Litchfield or Danville areas, but could be anywhere. Due to my grandmother who passed away we were all separated from the Burt side of the family and I would like to meet anyone who may be still related. Also want to learn about the Burt geneology. Some names mentioned were Billy and Leroy (brothers of Benjamin O Burt) they also had a sister but nobody remembers her name. My gr-grandfather, Ben, was born was supposedly raised in an Orphanage in Litchfield, Illinois, but I have never found proof of that. Please let me know if there is even a remote possibility of a connection.
