Hi Patricia,
Anderson Burt is a dead end for me [and many others apparently]. I have a little more information on his wife, Sarah. Found in “Some Georgia County Records Vol. 2” was information from the Clarke County Will Book A 1803-1822 and I quote “ (p.42) WILLIAM FINCH. Last Will and Testament dated Jan. 6, 1810; probated Nov. 4, 1811. Gives to Wife LYDIA; to daughters SALLY BURT and BETSY BOYD; and to children JOHN, Brothers? CHRISTOPHER and WILLIAM FINCH. Executors: Friends, JAMES B. COLE, NICHOLAS BAKER.”
I thought my records showed Anderson having another wife, but that was before the hard drive crash [modern equivalent of a court house fire]. As you can probably tell, my electronic data wasn’t properly backed-up and my present life doesn’t give me much time for genealogy so my data is kinda in limbo.
