Correction, pardon the mixup - I'm not sure of George Washington Burt, the earliest I have is:

Ebenezer O. Burt b. 1851 in Henry Co. Indiana, came to Iowa 1856, Madison Co. Iowa 1865 - member of 19th Indiana Infantry. Held offices of deputy clerk, county clerk, secretary of school board, abstract and loan business.
Married Hattie Linton (b. 1867, Penn.) in 1867.

Known children: Francis Ebenezer Burt b.1874 d. 1958, married to Florence Elizabeth Bradshaw in 1896

Sons: John Wesley b. 1905 and Francis

Please let me know if you have any ties to this Ebenezer who came from Indiana to Iowa thanks
