Dorothy, Don't have my records around. I've been hunting Moses Burt, son of
Richard4(Richard3,Richard2,Richard1) for about 15 years. At first I spent a long time trying to find him amongst the Southern Burts since LDS lists him as being born in VA (wrong). Recently though I made the connection to Richard1 of Taunton (b1610 Eng-I think 1647 Taunton) via Long Island and New Jersey. Winds up one of the Richards married a Ruth Baldwin. If you go back up her tree and come down through the Baldwins, winds up I believe it was a Hannah Warriner (a descendent of Ruth's father) married a Moses Burt in Hampden around 1732/33. (For a while I looked at him to see if he was the ancestor I was looking for.) He was a twin to an AAron (I believe) and a descendent of Henry Burt. So indirectly their is a connection between the Burt brothers of Taunton and Henry, but only at best a cousin relationship several generations removed. I can send the info if interested. For info the Baldwins and others involved with the Burts all seem to come from the countryside just north of London.
