The March 2006 issue of ANTIQUES magazine on p. 41 has an advertisement picturing an excellent sampler, ca. 1812, that was worked as a child by Susan Burson in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
I am scanning this page in case any of the Burson descendants might like a copy, either by email or by postal mail. Someone in the Burson family ought to have it--it's too good to be missed by the family.
I know that it has little genealogical value, but it certainly does have family value. The dealer selling it, however, says that it is "accompanied by family history."
My email address can be found by clicking on my underlined name above. If you'd like a copy of it, please email me directly rather than respond to me on this site as I probably will not see that response.
If it were a charming sampler done by a member of my Pease family, I'd sure want someone to do the same for me.
