I've been searching for a Della Barrett, whom I believe carried the maiden name of Burse. Through family lore, she lived in the northern part of Maine and it is believed that her death was some where between the late 1920's and the mid 1930's. I've been hitting brick walls with this lady whose name appears in early scrapbooks that have been passed on to me. I think she was related to my grandmother some how who was originally a Burse; her grandparents are in the 1860 census in Somerset, Maine in the town of Mercer.
Any and all help would be appreciated.
